Supersister

Emma,
Thank you for letting Dada post about me on your blog. So far you have been a really great big sister. I love it especially when you hold me on the couch. But it is too bad that your arms get sore so quickly (psst...don't worry i will not tell them about the booger you wiped on the cushion). Also when you touch my head with your hands to gently i know that you are there and care for me.
I have seen you get your finger poked and blood comes out. Then Momma and Dada talk about it. But they always give you hugs after they talk about it. I am not sure what that is all about yet, but i know you will tell me when I am ready. I hope that you tell me a lot of stuff. Even stuff that they do not know about.
I like playing with you. It seems like you have practiced or something before i came home. You know exactly what to say and do to me. You are amazing just like Mommy and Dada say. I think those needles you get everyday are superpowers that only big sisters get. I am lucky. Now lets go dress Dada up like a princess.

I watched this 3 times.

It was the sweetest video I've ever seen from whatever it was Emma wiped on the couch, to the hushed whispering by dada and big sister, to Anna sucking her teensy weensy thumb.

The vid was soooo quiet and peaceful, too. I hope it stays that way in your household for as long as possible.....'cause it ain't gonna last! LOL.

This is a beautiful video. A quiet sister/sister moment. Thanks for sharing it with everyone on the O.C. Chris. Most of us have had babies that have grown and miss these little moments. I'm glad you've captured this on video to look back on when your girls are much bigger :)

Heh Chris,
I was just sitting here at work cleaning up some files when I happened upon your blog - life has clearly gone on since you left UPS - Congrats on baby Anna - you are just one of the lucky ones I guess - meant to be surrounded by beautiful women - they are adorable!
