I am going to poop in my pants when that countdown reaches "7 Days".

So long as you're not riding in my car, that's fine with me.

And seriously.... CONGRATULATIONS!!

Shannon said...

Well, that's a step up from pooping in the cat litter.

Jillian said...

Hmmm, maybe you should invest in some adult diapers like that crazy lady Lisa Nowak. CONGRATS!!!!

I beg to differ ... I almost think the litter box would be a step up (less offensive to others, maybe?) - but a little embarassing for Denise, probably (well, either way, I'd assume) LOL.

Don't worry bud - you guys are awesome parents. This new little one is going to fit in just fine and you'll assume your position as "father" to a new little person with ease :)

Jamie,

Just picture Chris squatting in a cat litter box.

Shannon,

Well, we could have a vote, or debate on the subject (Just picture Chris squatting in the corner behind the sofa) but I'd better leave it at that! Either way is yuck-o ... but technically speaking, cat litter all the way baby!

Your poop is going to be the least of your worries once the countdown hits "0". I think we are both all to familar with that.

Congrats and good luck

You mean it's still that far away? We're getting a little anxious you know!!

That is funny. If you think you will poop your pants at 7 days, I'd hate to think what poor Denise will do. On the other hand, I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

Hey! A little less pooping and a little more blogging! Sup wit dat?? You'd think you're having a baby or something.

Penny Ratzlaff said...

I'm with Carey.

Update please.

Shannon said...

Let's just comment here until he blogs another post.

So how is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty good.

Penny Ratzlaff said...

I'm doing well too Shannon.

How's the weather where you are today?

It's cloudy and about 43 degrees here.

Shannon said...

It's damn frigid up here.

I wish I lived in the South.

All of a sudden we have a ton of birthday parties coming up this weekend that all 3 kids will be going to. It should be a blast (to my head if I had a bb gun).

Speaking of birthday's it looks like Chris has about how many days until he poops his pants? I suck at math.

Penny Ratzlaff said...

Shannon,

It was 25 frikin' degrees when I left for work this morning. That's probably nothing to you but it makes us southerners feel like we're freezing to death.

I'm not sure how long before the pants pooping will start. I'm terrible at math too. Funny how it is now a big part of my everyday life.

LMAO - I do believe the "man who will unload in his pants" was without computer access for a stint there (if I am correct). Thus the lack of posts.

But yeah, speaking of the weather - you guys have nothing to complain about - I'm further north than you. A few days ago we woke up to a wind child of -47 C (don't know what that is in F but it's damned cold!!!). It finally warmed up today - we can finally leave the house and play outside - hallelujiah!

Penny, Shannon - how are the kids? And yeah, we just went through a whole schwack of parties here too - man, every time I turned around we had to buy presents for another party - it was crazy! We're in a lull right now, but I know it'll pick up again soon.

Oh, I could just chat and chat ...

Coffee, anyone?

Shannon said...

Jamie,
I'd like some coffee, thanks. Jeff shattered the coffee pot last night.I'm jonesing for caffeine right now.

Interesting trivia:
At around -35 the temp becomes equalized for both celsius and farenhiet (I took a look at my outdoor thermometer).

-45 is painful. Don't tires go flat in that weather?

Does anyone have any trivia info to share?

Jamie said...

Well, the tires didn't go flat, but when you're driving your vehicle (note: you must plug in your vehicle in order for it to start in weather that nasty) the shocks are frozen, thus every pebble, crack and bump you hit in the road is like off roading in the rockies (interesting when you're in a van or small car). And sitting on frozen car seats feels nice too - they thaw after your ass warms it up after awhile.

I don't have any trivia off hand - but do have experiences to share. The coldest temps I have seen and lived to share .... -52. Back when I lived "up north" (which, technically when you look at a map, isn't north NORTH in this country) I woke up to the radio announcing that one. I couldn't stay in bed either - I had an exam to write that morning and they did NOT cancel it. Believe it or not, my car started. I had to let it warm up for 30 minutes though before driving off in it.....

Hope I don't see a number like that again ....

Anyone else have any experiences they'd like to share? How about on the opposite side of the spectrum ... too hot out? Hottest temp you lived through??

Penny Ratzlaff said...

We've had 110 degree weather around here in the summer. Plus, you have to add humidity to that. Humidity makes more of a difference than you realize. I think the heat index (actual temp + humidity) may have gotten up in the 120s before.

Yes, hot as hades.

But, I much prefer that to the cold.

Shannon said...

I totally agree...it's not the heat, it's the humidity.

Penny wins for the hottest weather and Jamie wins hands down for the coldest.

Hey, did anyone hear about that teenager who stole an airplane and tried crashing it into a Hanna Montana concert? He was caught before he could crash it. Or something like that.

Also, I heard that Dick Cheney is Obama Barack's cousin.

Discuss.

Jamie said...

Wow, that's like a teen pop terrorist. He really mustn't like Hannah Montana ....

Dick Cheney and Obama Barack are cousins? Wow - who knew?

Is anyone here related to someone famous - or half assed famous?

Can't say as I am. I haven't even shook hands with a famous person before. I did go to a Van Halen concert - and Def Leppard ... does that count? (oh, and INXS back when Michael whats-his-face was the lead singer). Wow, can't believe I've forgotten his name now ... OH - Hutcheons ... Michael Hutcheons .... or something like that ..

I saw Jude Law the summer before last when I was in Soho in NYC. He was sitting at a table right next to mine and when he got up to go make a phone call, I was shocked because I hadn't known he was sitting there when we walked in.

He has a big fucking head. His body was so little. He was a living bobblehead. He had an awesome tan though.

Jamie said...

Ah right! Jude Law - I remember that .... very cool.

I didn't know he was a bobblehead though. That's freaky.

Shannon said...

Yeah. Pretty freaky.

Candlelight vigil, anyone? Otherwise, I'm going to bed.

Penny Ratzlaff said...

I'm not related to anyone famous, nor have I ever met anyone famous.

But, I was about 6 feet from Steven Tyler once. I almost peed my pants.

Good night ya'll.

Shannon said...

JOKE TIME (I had to think about the punchline a couple of times because I'm stoopid):

What do Winnipegger's do in the summer?
Well, if it falls on a Sunday, we have a picnic.

Jamie said...

MWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Good thing here in Brandon our summers are two days long instead of one ...

Jamie said...

Chris! WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUUU??

(probably a frozen turd like we are)

Post dammit! Shannon's jokes are getting lame! (no offense Shannon LOL LOL)

Shannon said...

I thought the joke was funny when I was drunk.

Penny Ratzlaff said...

I think he's just trying to see how many comments he can get.

Shannon said...

Probably.

Dammit.
