Bragging Rights

Just dropping in to say everything is going really well over here. In terms of Emma's diabetes and controlling it to both of our new jobs and Momma's recovery. Very busy though. I just don't feel the need to be posting on Emma's perfect BS's, or that this new job is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. But i just did... i guess i am proud.

Emma's thought process has been really developing so rapidly and sharply. Making her say and do the most of darnedest of things. She is a truly special little human being.

Every time i lift her up i am thankful that i have her to lift. I didn't want just anyone to be my first born. I wanted Emma to be. I cannot think of a greater gift. This is why i have bragging rights.

See you all soon.

I'm glad everything is going good for you guys :) And I'm glad you checked in, too!

I love that picture - it says a thousand words. First borns really are unique, aren't they? You think they're going to break you in for future children - then you have another one and find out that everything kid #1 taught you goes out the window cause kid #2 has his/her own plans lol.

Brooke and Danielle say "Hi" to their new friend Emma :)

Glad to hear that all is well, Chris.

Can this blog be any more gay?

How can a blog be gay?

Chris said...

It could be "gayer". If i really tried. But im really busy these days so it is just going to have to be this gay for now. Sorry about that.

Chris,

I think you have just the right amoung of gayness in your blog:-)

Jamie said...

I agree with Penny - there's not too much gay in here - but just enough :)

Gotta love the "gay" annonymous commenters, huh?

Oh no, is this the same Anon that was terrorizing Allison?

Anyway, I love your expression in that picture. And Emma is always too cute.

Chris, your gay... remember when I stuck the remote control up your ass? You like it and laughed the whole time.

Shannon said...

LMAO....I checked out Nob's blog and nothing's more gay than that picture of Chris in the Priest's collar.......

Penny Ratzlaff said...

Chris,

I followed Shannon to nob's blog and, OMG, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. You in the priest's collar, priceless.

Jamie said...

Oh MY GOD all nob!! Your blog is frikkin' hilarious!!

Ohhh, I needed a good laugh today LOL LOL. Chris - I gotta ask - how do you know this guy??? LOL.

P.S. I had no idea you were a priest!

Isnt it nice how such a negative thing (the gay comment) can be morphed into something so funny and positive?!
I am glad i am a catalyst for many laffs and good times.
Kinda like me and all nob had in the day. But im suprised he still knows my name it has been so long. and yes he stuck a remote control in my ass, and no i didnt like it even though i was laffing while it was getting done to me. but that was the only way i can stop it from going in any further so if i stopped laffing it would have losened the entry point then i would have been in alot of trouble.
AHH good times.
The priest thing started at my wedding. i may get into that one day but for now ill leave it at that.

Shannon said...

Wow, this goes from a post about a loving relationship between a proud father and his daughter to sticking remote controls up the ass.

Amazing.

There's something for everyone on this blog!

This one goes out to you, Chris. I think you'll have to copy and paste it.

That was such a gay video :p

Jamie said...

Ok, I'm thinking that the actual act of "laughing" would loosen the point of entry, vs restricting it.... which brings me to the ever embarassing "passing of gas" when laughing so hard you could puke ... (hey - you've all been there - I KNOW you have) ... LOL.

But, then again, I've never had a remote control shoved up there before (or any other object for that matter) - so what do I know??

I can't believe I'm analyzing this (anal-yzing) hee hee on your blog.

Please - feel free to ban me ... but I would be sad ...

Let's hope no one trys that manoever on you again Chris :D

Jamie said...

Oh - and I can't spell, either.

trys - tries

I think I need more coffee.

Shannon said...

Jamie, you are KILLING me over here. LMAO.

I think you'd be correct to say that laughing would allow better entry because of the weakness it causes.

A remote up the ass is an excellent way to keep track of it. They are notorious for getting lost.

Jamie said...

LOL Shannon! I'll have to recommend that spot to dh ....

Are we comment hogs or what ??? LOL (how gay am I?)

Shannon said...

You're a total gaywad, LOL.

Well if Chris isn't going to post more than once a week or so, we've got to entertain ourselves somehow.

I'd rather do this than my housewifely duties any old day, LOL.
